Rebel - a revolutionary child's set
With Rebel, Stelton explore introduces an innovation among child's set. The forms of Rebel are entirely based on the child's way of moving, and at the same time it is an exquisite design experience for the parents. The set, created by the award winning Norwegian designer Johan Verde, consists of a spoon made of stainless steel, a mug, and a plate (with a rubber bottom to secure the stability) all made of white porcelain.
Rebel is easy for the child to handle. The edge of the plate is concave, and easily catches spilt food, and this form recurs in the handle of both spoon and mug creating a coherent and ergonomic expression. The handle makes it easy for the child to hold the mug stable, and the top is rounded, making it easy to drink, while its broad bottom keeps it stable.
