Watch V
Origin: Denmark
The difference between WATCH V and the original design from the 1980s is that the actual case is turned 90 degrees to give greater width than height when the watch is worn on the wrist. In addition, WATCH V has taken on a distinctly masculine style in the form of broad, ellipsoid shoulders with polished surfaces which contrast beautifully with the matt finish of the case and the matt rubber strap.
In true Rosendahl style, the strap is not just any old rubber strap; naturally, it has all been carefully thought out. The reverse of the strap, next to the wrist, has a design-cut indentation to prevent perspiration from collecting underneath, which is a typical irritation to many people when wearing a watch with a rubber strap. This strap design applies not only to WATCH V but to all watches by Flemming Bo Hansen.
Multifunctional purism
Many of the previous watches in Flemming Bo Hansens WATCH collection only displayed the time on a large LCD display, and of course WATCH V does this, too. However, as a brand-new feature, WATCH V also offers stopwatch, countdown and alarm functions. Unsurprisingly, these functions are designed with true Flemming Bo Hansen minimalism, which in this case means all the functions are controlled by two buttons, A and B. Button A scrolls through the functions, and button B sets, activates, stops and resets.
Despite its many functions, WATCH V is nevertheless extremely simple to use thus justifying its place in Flemming Bo Hansens purist universe of time.
