Rosendahl - Le Mans Steel Steel Watch

Origin: Switzerland

The visual appearance of the watch is intended to reflect the atmosphere surrounding Le Mans and the passion for racing. This is expressed in many ways:

The clock face has the 24-hour dial at the top left, symbolising the 24-hour Le Mans race, embellished with Tom Kristensen’s signature; the 60 minute dial is at the top right and the seconds dial is at the bottom. The 24-hour dial also enables the alarm function on the watch.

The four red and green dots at the top symbolise the starting lights on the race track, which are also set up in pairs. In addition, the green and red lights on the dashboard of the racing car show the driver when to change gear. The crown on the watch has tiny grooves representing the tread pattern of a car tyre - accentuated by the little metal band symbolising a hub cap. The watch strap is patterned on motor components and classic driving gloves. The back plate of the watch is engraved with Tom Kristensen’s Le Mans victory.

The watch is Swiss made and fitted with a Swiss ETA movement in a robust, solid, stainless steel casing (10 atm). The movement has three primary functions, performed by two interconnected watch movements, one for normal time control and the other for the alarm function and the 24-hour stopwatch (the chronometer).
