The material used is a man-made fabric that has been specifically and uniquely developed for this project and is waterproof and washable. The unique properties of the textile give it a rigidity but which is soft at the same time and does not collapse in on itself. The material has been named 'Jaqui O velvet' probably the most comparable existing material would be hemp.
