A pioneer of mirror polish design for metal, the "Girotondo" series was the first (and most widely copied) example of the creation of a contemporary design icon based on the most intimate and delicate of the "affective codes": the "Children Code", a flash of genius from the then-young team of Stefano Giovannoni and Guido Venturini.
